Strings By Bling - formerly known as BTLX Custom Guitars are located in the beautiful Northern Irish seaside town of Carrickfergus, and specialise in hand crafting folk instruments such as ukuleles, mandolins, cigar box guitars, bodhraleles and much much more.
We also produce guitars to custom order, so if you're looking for a unique locally produced electric, acoustic or bass at a great price, we've got you covered.

In addition to creating new instruments, we also offer a full range of luthier services on all stringed instruments, ranging from setups, customisations and upgrades to full restroration jobs. We pride ourselves in taking on repair jobs that other luthiers won't touch due to either the complexity or the extent of the damage to be fixed.
